As we wind down to completion on the plans for our new home we must begin to start focusing on the hardware we will be putting in it. Looking through all of our different options this past weekend, reminded my husband and I of a stop we made this spring in Greenwich Village on our way back from Toronto. We stopped at a metal foundry in Greenwich Village by the name of P. E. Guerin. P.E Guerin’s hardware has been around for a long time, since 1857 to be exact. I must say that the hardware we saw was beyond beautiful, it simply took our breath away. We purchased a door knob for the front door of our new home, once it is completed, and were able to take a tour and watch cabinet pulls being made. A must see if you are ever near Greenwich Village in New York City.
